Kelly was born in New Zealand and grew up in Canada. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Health with a Dietetics Major in 2010. Straight out of university she worked as a paediatric dietitian at a tertiary paediatric hospital in Vancouver. Since moving to Australia in 2013, Kelly has worked as a clinical dietitian in paediatric, adolescent and adult settings.
Kelly has had the pleasure of working with families and children of all ages, across a broad range of clinical areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, faltering growth, fussy eating, food allergies, ASD, enteral nutrition support and supporting busy families with easy to follow and practical meal time solutions. Kelly is committed to providing evidence-based nutrition information and working with families to help them choose the best plan for their child and family.
Aside from working, Kelly also loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband, 2 young kids, and their dog named Gage. They are an active family that enjoys travelling, biking, swimming, playing at the beach, eating out and playgrounds (they’ve lost count of how many).
Kelly has recently moved to the Sunshine Coast and is excited to start her first proper veggie garden, if you have any tips fire them her way!
Kelly is a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and is a registered member of Dietitians Australia.
